Born from a Love
Growing up between Paris and Tokyo, Aurélie developed a dual appreciation for European elegance and Japanese precision. After training at Tokyo's prestigious Nail Academy and apprenticing at Maison Nail Art on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, she returned to the city in 2014 with a vision.
She saw an opportunity to create a beauty studio that treated nails, lashes, and brows not as routine maintenance, but as genuine art forms deserving of the same care and creativity as haute couture. VELOUR was born from that conviction.

First lash and brow services added. Isabelle Tran joins as lead lash stylist.
Launched our Press-On Boutique during a quiet season — artisan press-on nails delivered with luxury packaging. 500+ orders in the first month.
Expanded into our current flagship studio. Priya Mehta and Camille Dubois join the team. The Velour Society membership programme launches.
